The Article is about a sheep and cattle farm that had belonged to the same generation for twenty generations. The article also talks about native trees manuka, rewarewa and others.

I think the author’s purpose of writing the story was because they want the generations of the farm to continue and because Arthur wanted to explain what the native trees were used for and how they used them.

  1. Another thing that I learnt is that the sheep and cattle farm is important to the family because they have had that sheep and cattle farm for a long time and it belonged to their ancestors. Another reason why the sheep and cattle are important to the family is because the sheep provide food and the cattle provide milk and food too.
